13 August, 2018 - ITV and Tall Story Pictures today announced casting for The Bay, an original drama written by award winning writer and playwright Daragh Carville (Being Human, The Smoke, Cherrybomb) and co-created by Richard Clark. Morven Christie (The A Word, The Replacement) will lead the cast as Detective Sergeant Lisa Armstrong, a fierce and hard-working Family Liaison Officer. Joining Christie are; Jonas Armstrong (Troy, Ripper Street), Tracie Bennett (Scott & Bailey, Coronation Street), Lindsey Coulson (Funny Cow, Bullet Proof), Chanel Cresswell (This is England ’90, Murdered For Being Different), Louis Greatorex (Last Tango in Halifax, Safe), Adam Long (Happy Valley, Peterloo), Taheen Modak making his professional screen debut, and Daniel Ryan (Mount Pleasant, Black Sea).
08 August, 2018 - CBS has secured the U.S. format rights for the smash U.K. and international reality series “Love Island” from ITV Studios and Motion Content Group, with the new series to be produced by ITV Entertainment, it was announced today by Sharon Vuong, Senior Vice President, Alternative Programming for the Network. The season four finale aired last week to a record overnight audience, ranking as the most-watched program ever on the U.K.’s ITV2 network, with almost half of all 16-34 year-old TV viewers tuning in throughout the series.
07 August, 2018 – ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) has appointed NBCU’s David Wilcox as Senior Vice President, Sales, EMEA. Wilcox is returning to ITVS GE, having spent nine years with the company prior to being appointed by NBCU in 2014.
ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) has appointed Cecilie Olsen to its acquisitions team as SVP, Global Content, Non-Scripted. Reporting into Julie Meldal-Johnsen, EVP Global Content, Olsen will lead the non-scripted team in managing the acquisition of all of ITVS GE's non-scripted content.
