ITV Studios Global Entertainment Secures Content Deal With New On-Demand Service Cirkus

April 8, 2013 - ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) has signed a multi year content deal with the new international subscription video-on-demand service Cirkus that will launch later this year.

ITVS GE will be a major content provider, supplying hundreds of hours of programming, initially focusing on drama but including other genres too. Titles will include ITV Studios’ Lewis, Appropriate Adult, Poirot, Vera, Prime Suspect and Blue Murder as well as third party acquisitions such as Case Histories, Touching Evil and Above Suspicion.

Cirkus is a subscription video-on-demand service that offers the very best of British television programmes for use by international Pay TV operators. It will launch initially in Scandinavia and has been created by the content consultancy, Content&Co, in collaboration with Ostmodern, the UK’s leading digital product design studio and Wiggin - one of the country’s foremost media law practices.
