Francis Hopkinson

Francis joined ITV Studios from Left Bank Pictures where he was Executive Producer of DCI Banks for ITV1. Prior to that, Francis was commissioning Editor for Channel 4’s Drama Department, and has overseen projects including the multi-award winning Elizabeth I to Sugar Rush, Longford and E4’s Skins. Since joining ITV, Francis established a Drama unit responsible for developing and producing a new slate of scripted content for both internal and external commissions.

Catherine Oldfield

Catherine joined ITV Studios Drama in 2011 tasked with developing a broad range of drama singles, serials and series for UK and international broadcasters. She developed HOME FIRES alongside writer and creator, Simon Block, and oversaw the project from its inception, through production, to broadcast on two series. Alongside this, she developed and executive produced TUTANKHAMUN – a lavish 4-part drama by Guy Burt based on the Howard Carter story. In 2016, she co-founded the new ITV Studios label TALL STORY PICTURES with Francis Hopkinson. She developed and is producing Mike Bartlett’s three-part thriller, TRAUMA, for ITV. Prior to joining ITV Studios, Catherine has held posts at Monkey Kingdom where she was Head of Drama and Scripted Comedy where she produced numerous projects for the BBC and a pilot for HBO (KATE’S SMALL VICTORIES). Before this, she worked as Development Producer for Greenlit where she ran the development slate and worked on 4 series of the award-winning FOYLE’S WAR as well as developing COLLISION, CAUGHT IN A TRAP, VEXED and HONEST. A previous role as Head of Development at Sally Head Productions (producers of Tipping The Velvet, The Mayor Of Casterbridge) saw Catherine working on THE CRY and the Bafta-nominated adaptation of Sarah Waters’ FINGERSMITH for BBC 1.
